Oubanguia alata (Lecythidaceae) is a specialist of the depressions, Strombosia pustulata (Olacaceae) of flat-terrain, Uvariodendron connivens (Annonaceae) of slopes, Diospyros iturensis (Ebenaceae) of gullies, and Tabernaemontana brachyantha (Apocynaceae) of the ridge.
